For 2 CP/level, this additional damage is only inflicted when the character uses one specific attack type (unarmed strikes, basic mind attacks), special attack type (speed attacks, fireballs), or method of attack (leaps, throws, improvised weaponry). This can represent knowledge of a particular type of technique, a killer instinct, natural talent, or just standard training. Mind combat can generally have this ability taken three times, where it will apply to the mental realm and not the real-world realm. Once for special mind attacks, once for basic mind attacks, and once for mental 'manouvers' (such as biting, 'throwing', and called shots). For 5 points/level, this knowledge can be applied to all forms of either mental or physical combat. For 6 points/level, this knowledge applies to both physical and mental combat. Remember that mental combat damage is dealt in EP, not HP.
